Welcome To The Ring O Bells

The Ring O' Bells is said to be the only pub in the UK to be on consecrated ground. Originally built in the 1741 with the aim of providing refreshment to church wardens and the Bell Ringers, it stands right alongside Kendal Parish Church.

The pub is still set out as it was when built as its a listed building. We have a wonderful open fire in each bar with our Bell Ringers Snug offering a range of cask ales and our front bar offering a range of local and national lagers and spirits.

For those not wishing to drink alcoholic drinks we have a range of non alcohol beers and we also offer a range of freshly ground coffee's and a range of specialty tea.

Not only do we welcome travellers but also their four legged friends as we are a pet friendly pub.
